Sanctuary City, Municipal IDs, & Workplace Rights : we are working in coalition with immigrant rights groups across the city to create and uphold the policies that will keep San Francisco a REAL Sanctuary City. We also stand together against the violence that an increasingly militarized border and interior does to our communities.
No Borders Camp 2007 : In November 2007, we formed an eighteen-person queer contingent to the Calexico/Mexicali No Borders Camp. We built our contingent around the belief that as queers, we bring a unique commitment to—and history of—building powerful community through re-imagining the boundaries that define who we feel connected and responsible to– who we call family– across race, class, and national boundaries.
